About
I am a 20-something year old female with too many interests. In my not-so-free time, I attempt to do many things at once as to alleviate any hope of ever completing anything. The things that amuse me (in a relative hierarchy), include but are not limited to:
Language (natural and formal):
- Poetry/Prose/Literature
- Mathematics
- Programming
- Computational Linguistics
- Artificial Intelligence
I also enjoy water balloons, air conditioning, music, video games, cyber-culture, coffee, tea, well-prepared vegetarian food, and your mom.
I am approximately 1.2 years away from finishing my B.S. in Applied Computer Science with a minor in mathematics. I work full-time as a software developmental test lead, which is a fancy way of saying that I break software. I attend school full-time at one college and part-time at another. Needless to say, I have no social life.
My research interests are mathematics, computer science, and computational linguistics. I am currently looking for a mentor in any of these areas. I am currently performing research in combinatorial computational geometry.
I’ve been told that I am boring and normal, as is my platelet count. This pleases me immensely.
I totally stole the “Foo” idea from this guy.
